Spring has arrived and as the season of new beginnings, we are excited to announce the unveiling of our new Charity of the Month program. The details are pretty simple. Starting April 1st, each month, Signature Event Rentals will designate a charity to which we will donate a portion of profits from all events booked within that month. We plan to support a variety of organizations that help kids, animals, veterans and the homeless. We are pleased to announce that our first featured charity in April is Southeastern Guide Dogs. This organization works to train service dogs for the visually impaired as well as veterans living with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Fully accredited and founded in 1982, Southeastern Guide Dogs serves over 450 graduates across the US and continues to place over 100 dogs each year.
In the Valentin house, we had the honor a few years back to serve as Christopher's retirement home. Christopher's owner, Keith, was a family friend and worked with Gilbert. He even attended our wedding and visited with Gilbert at work on a daily. Christopher, a sweet white Labrabor, had served with Keith since he was a pup and the time had come for him to relax and live the life of luxury. We were thrilled to have him do this in our home. Thanks to Southeastern Guide Dogs for all the work that they do!
